Privacy policy
Effective 28 October 2026. Biz Panama is operated by BizTour Panamá, S.A., Panama City, Panama (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal information we collect through bizpanama.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Details you send us. Your name, email address, phone number (with country code), the topic you are interested in and any comments, when you use the contact form, join a free guide or course list, join a waitlist or book a service. We also record which page and which link or campaign you came from (a short source tag) and the time.
- Messages. If you email us or message us on WhatsApp, we keep the conversation.
- Orders. When paid items are open, you pay on PayPal’s own pages. PayPal gives us your name, email address, the item, the amount and a transaction number. We never see or store your card number.
- Technical data. Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes your IP address and basic browser information to deliver the site and keep it secure. Fonts load from Google Fonts and some photos from Wikimedia Commons, which also receive your IP address when your browser requests them.
How we use it
- To reply to you and arrange your free consultation or service.
- To deliver what you buy, send receipts and give you access to your private page.
- To send the free guide or course lessons you asked for, and updates about them. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe.
- To keep records, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
Service providers that help us run the site, acting on our instructions: Google (Google Sheets, Apps Script and Gmail, where enquiries are stored and emails are sent), Cloudflare (hosting and email forwarding) and PayPal (payments). Each has its own privacy policy. If you ask us to introduce you to a lawyer, accountant or other professional, we share your details with them only with your agreement. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Where it is processed
We are based in Panama. Our providers may store and process information in other countries, including the United States. By sending us your details you understand that your information may be processed outside your country.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, then delete or anonymise it. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, stop using it for a purpose, or withdraw your consent. To unsubscribe, use the link in any email or write to info@bizpanama.com. Panama’s personal data protection law (Law 81 of 2019) and, depending on where you live, other laws may give you additional rights. We will answer within a reasonable time.
Cookies
We do not set analytics or advertising cookies on this site. If you go to PayPal to pay, PayPal uses its own cookies under its own policy. If we add analytics later, we will update this page first.
Children
This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Security
We use reputable providers and limit who can access the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
